This event showcased products made right here in the Tampa Bay area. Manufacturers from across the Bay area were able to exhibit ad present what they manufacture in our region. Florida has a strong, skilled manufacturing workforce which represents 5% of the state's workforce. About 307,500 people in Florida are employed by manufacturers. The average annual salary for a Florida manufacturing employee is $68,000 about 72 percent higher than the statewide average private sector wage.

Manufacturing sectors are diverse and include companies in electronics, plastics, food processing and printing, as well as medical devices and aviation/aerospace manufacturing.

The Expo was held from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Nielsen, 501 Brooker Creek Blvd, Oldsmar, FL in conjunction with the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber 's Seventh Annual Manufacturers Awards  Dinner.

Over 100 Attendees were able to speak to local manufacturers about their products, how they are made and learn about current job openings in manufacturing.
