Why do some people achieve great personal success, yet never succeed in building a business or making an impact in their organization?

The pathway to growing an organization is to grow its leaders. Leaders can't do it alone. To succeed at the highest levels, they must surround themselves with a team of influencers. Although leaders may see the big picture, they need other leaders at their side to make the picture a reality.

In this intense half day workshop you will learn:
- The five levels of leadership
- Why leaders need to reproduce leaders
- The process for turning producers into reproducers

You will be challenged not only to learn about developing leaders but also to take the action steps necessary to invest in the potential leaders around you. You’ll learn principles that have been tested and proven again and again.

Whether you're C-level, VP, Director, Manager or the leader of a group, department, or company in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Warehousing, Transportation, Operations or Procurement, Developing Supply Chain Leaders can help you to take others to the limits of their potential and your organization to a whole new level.

Workshop Facilitator: Kim D. Moore
Our workshop facilitator is Kim D. Moore (http://www.johnmaxwellgroup.com/kimdmoore), coach, teacher and speaker with the John Maxwell Team (coaches, speakers, teachers and communicators worldwide mentored by leadership authority Dr. John C. Maxwell).

Kim Moore  is passionate about leadership. For 30 years, the military officer, school administrator, adjunct professor, cancer survivor and certified coach, teacher and speaker with the John Maxwell Team has been at the forefront of training others to maximize their potential. Her philosophy is simple: All people are leaders—from the stay-at-home mom raising children, to the store clerk representing a franchise, to the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. The only question is this: How effective are they?

Kim D. Moore:  The seeds of leadership were planted in the U.S. Army. As a Company Commander and training officer with the Chemical Corps, Kim led hundreds of soldiers and staff. She also instructed all branches of the military in preparedness for nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) warfare including weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). The experience required a level of training, coaching and drive unlike any she had known while growing up in small-town Chester, Pennsylvania. She held on to those skills, carrying them into her subsequent career in secondary education as a high school teacher and administrator for our nation's eight largest school district. Kim has also taught business courses as an adjunct professor for the nation's largest private for-profit university.

As her career progressed and later shifted, the wife, mother and avid sports fan learned yet another key aspect of leadership: balance. Now, with each new venture or training opportunity, Kim says her goal is to “add value” to others’ lives, empowering them to solve problems, weigh priorities, reach their potential—and have some fun, too. It starts, she says, with recognizing the leader in us all.
