Businesses conducting or considering international business should be aware of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

In fact, after settling an FCPA case last year, the chief of the SEC’s FCPA enforcement group said, “This is a wake-up call for small and medium-size businesses that want to enter into high-risk markets and expand their international sales.” And, in January, a Tampa-based company agreed to pay $3.4M in connection with allegations of FCPA violations. At this event, learn more about the FCPA, including what it covers, which markets are high-risk, and how to avoid being caught in the government’s crosshairs.
