The Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) has announced the formation of a Manufacturers Round Table Forum for manufacturers in Tampa Bay.

The Purpose of Manufacturers Round Table is to provide a forum for the sharing of manufacturing best practices and to leverage the synergy between its members in order to accelerate companies' growth, competitiveness and profitability.

These Round Tables are offered to facilitate discussion and determine specific focus areas of interest manufacturing members would like more support from BAMA; to provide a forum to discuss and share best practices within manufacturing members; to provide a forum to learn and provide resources to our membership to improve manufacturing competitiveness. Also offered are areas to express concerns, review opportunities and work together to revitalize Tampa Bay’s manufacturing base.

The first Round Table forum:
Measure what matters: How to establish a Continuous Improvement Program that works

The following presenters will be sharing their Continuous Improvement journey experiences and perspectives at the first Round Table Forum on July 30th;
 • Jim Long – Vice President; Operations and Manufacturing Services at Sypris Electronics
 • Bill Mazurek – Global Director of Continuous Improvement – Conmed Corporation
 • George Harrington – Production Manager – Advanced Protection Technologies

The Manufacturing Round table is designed to be interactive and the first event is designed to prompt participants to develop plans to begin or enhance their existing Continuous Improvements plans. Future Round table events will be tailored on input from those who participate in the BAMA Round table so it is important that you attend this first event!

The Manufacturers Round Table Forum is another example of BAMA’s ongoing efforts to expand the strength of Tampa Bay’s manufacturing base.
