Location: Dade City, FL
Plant wide installation, service, repairs and trouble-shooting of production equipment and building maintenance.
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, motors, pneumatics, tools, hydraulics, lubrication systems, valves, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
Welding – stick, tig, and mig
Lubricates and cleans parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Operate power and hand tools,
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with various types of production machinery. Experience working in regulated industry. Good people skills. Organization and problem solving skills required. Food or beverage experience is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical function.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

HOURS: Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Salary Range: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour (based on experience level)
