The Bay Area Manufacturers Association supports manufacturers and promotes economic development in the Tampa Bay Region. BAMA provides a forum to exchange ideas and share best practice information; network with colleagues; and learn about manufacturing related topics through educational programs and tours. BAMA supports STEM programs and offers scholarships to students pursuing manufacturing and STEM education. Manufacturing provides jobs for approximately 60,000 people in approximately 2,500 facilities throughout Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

The end of our fiscal year was celebrated at our Annual Awards Banquet. Awards were given to our most involved & dedicated BAMA members. Honorable Mention Awards were given to Jerry Sherman from Coast Systems and Beth Galic from BAMA. Jeff Perkins from Seal Dynamics won the Distinguished Service Award. Megan Meiers from Monin won the Emerging Leader Award. The Service Appreciation award was given to Jim Long from Sypris. The BAMA Company of the Year Award was given to Trademark Metals Recycling. We met our scholarship winners and watched the exciting robotics demonstrations from Middleton Robotics and Hadron Knights. Keynote Speaker, Tom Topping gave an interactive presentation about the top 5 keys to improving productivity, profitability, retention and Innovation.
Join manufacturers from all across the country who are hosting students and educators at their manufacturing facilities. Manufacturing Day is officially October 4th but you can plan an event or tour anytime during the month of October.
