PURPOSE part of a national grassroots effort shaping public perception of modern manufacturing and driving interest in available careers. Manufacturing month in Florida is about educating students, educators, customers, suppliers, legislators and the community at large about manufacturing, its impact on the economy and the diverse and rewarding career opportunities it offers.

There are many ways to get involved:

1. Virtual recorded tour, with or without live Q & A session

  • Pre-record with paid videographer or “do it yourself” version with phone video
  • Can be 1 video or series of 3 or more (Or, if available, use appropriate existing video footage)
  •  taking students through your facility. Show it live with Q & A.

2. Narrated PowerPoint presentation

  • Take still images and put in a PowerPoint Presentation
  • Narrate the presentation live online
  • Record audio for each slide in the deck, export to video and post or play video
  • Give live presentation talk about your company

3. Company products live discussions/presentation

  • Use objects you make and talk about the product, how it’s made, what it does, etc.
  • Send ahead/deliver one or more of your products to a school (remember safety issues) that they can touch during your virtual presentation.
