Please join BAMA, Career Source, ASQ and Saltmarsh, Cleveland & Gund for the Made in Tampa Bay Expo on March 8th from 11:00 - 4:00 PM!
 
This event is open to the public FREE and will showcase products made right here in the Tampa Bay area. The Expo will be held from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Hillsborough Community College Dale Mabry Campus, 4001 W. Tampa Blvd., Tampa 33614.

This Expo will feature products made in and around Tampa Bay. You can speak to local manufacturers about their products, how they are made and find out how you can help the local economy.

Projects and Activities for Students and Families


AMSkills will be bringing their advanced Manufacturing Cart with a Universal Robots UR3 Robot and Sphero Bolts. A course will be setup for playing with the Sphero Bolts.

Our Mission is to Transform Lives & Build Communities through workforce training and apprenticeships. This is accomplished through programs that focus on RECRUIT, TRAIN, and SUSTAIN, with high school programs, bootcamps, training classes, pre-apprenticeships, and apprenticeships. AmSkills primary focus is to support the Manufacturing industry.


Stop by our booth and discover multiple resources to increase student’s awareness and interest in the field of manufacturing and all the careers it represents. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the exciting world of manufacturing, practice their measurement skills, get to play with a DOBOT, and get the chance to win our famous FLATOR.

The Florida Advanced Technological Education Center (FLATE), is the go-to organization for manufacturing and advanced technical education, best practices, and resources supporting the high-performance skilled workforce for Florida’s manufacturing sectors.
