       The Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development and qualification of new aerospace engineering  

       programs while conforming to customer requirements (quality) and delivering them on time and within budget.  You will

       be expected to engage and direct the activities of a cross-functional team of technical professionals including

       Designer/Draftsmen, Technical Writers, Configuration Control Specialists, and Staff Scientists as necessary to provide

       technical direction, project management, and leadership for your assigned programs.  You will also be expected to work

       closely with sales, program management, operations, qualification laboratory, and external suppliers, providing

       leadership as necessary to ensure the success of your assigned programs.      

       Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline and experience in

       engineering design. Knowledge in spreadsheet analysis, report writing, and 3-D solid modeling software applications.

       Basic familiarity with drafting standards and GD&T. Familiarity with aerospace materials. Familiarity with engineering

       software e.g. Mathcad, and TK Solver. Basic knowledge in engineering project management. Knowledge in the areas of   

       stress analysis and fluid dynamics. Familiarity with ISO 9000 engineering design requirements.
