    Job Title:                Plastic Press Operators (1st & 2nd Shifts)

    Hours:                     1st Shift, 3:00am to 3:30pm, working every other weekend.

    Starting Wage:     $13.00 to $ 15.00 per hour DOE & Shift

    SUMMARY - Set up and operate machinery such as presses, planers, saws, surface grinding equipment and to weigh material needed to machine nonmetallic work pieces.

    REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    *Forklift experience preferred, but not required. Will train.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned.

    Read and follow Job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances and pounds, matching instruction such as feed rate, cutting speeds, closing speed and determine sequence of operations. Document and keep logs, routing and various forms updated. Fill bags with resin to required weight and stage at the proper location. Scrap, clean, spray mold release, fill and level press. Sort and test material to ensure it is UHMW-PE prior to grinding, milling and putting into stock. Load chipper with correct materials. Set up and opera rate the CNC saw and planer, pull the required quantity of sheets, ensure the part numbers are the same and machine to the specifications of the job traveler. Operate forklift proficiently. Follow all safety regulations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    ·         Interpret sketches, drawings, or other provided information to determine sequence of operations and set-up requirements.

    ·         Ability to efficiently produce quality parts on a CNC or manual machine.

    ·         Prepare the correct material for machining.

    ·         Select the most appropriate tools for the assigned task.

    ·         Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut or enter commands to retrieve, input or edit program.

    Card Press Operator – 3rd Shift

     

    Omnicell is currently hiring for a Card Press Operator – 3rd Shift to work at our St. Petersburg, FL location.  The Card Press Operator will report to the Production Supervisor and will set up and operate a Card Press production line.  This a 3rd Shift position (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Sunday through Thursday).

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Working knowledge in the area of Flexographic Printing.
    • Printing of multiple color products.
    • Operating continuous web converting equipment.
    • Responsible for the set-up, operation, clean up, and the quality of the product produced.
    • Move rolls of Plastic/Board/Foil/Liner/Label Stock – 400 pounds – 1000 pounds (rolling material on their diameter).
    • Move skids weighing up to 2,500 pounds with the use of mechanical and or powered rolling stock. (Pallet jacks).

     

    Required Knowledge/Skills:

    • Refined listening skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision.
    • Understanding of basic verbal instructions and ability to speak clearly.
    • Ability to:        
      • work collaboratively with peers and team.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience with Comco Pro-glide or Omet presses.

     

    Work Conditions:

    • Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday 10 pm - 6 am with OT as needed

    SUMMARY - Support the CASE VP of Sales and CASE Customer Service Representative as needed to reach annual business objectives.

    REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -

    Bachelor’s degree (preferred).  Outside sales technical field is preferred. Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, or ability to acquire knowledge, of software and database programs is a must for job performance. Knowledge of local geographies for material sales is needed, along with knowledge of payment/shipping terms.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

    ·         Participate in development of annual sales and marketing goals to ensure and maintain business growth and profitability.
