    PRIME RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analyze existing commercial aircraft components in order to reverse engineer them and develop equivalent parts with improved performance and cost savings
    • Use inspection equipment such as an optical comparator, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), optical equipment, pin gages, calipers, micrometers, etc. in the analysis and reverse engineering of aircraft parts
    • Demonstrated proficiency in design specification definition and interpretation, dimensional tolerance analysis and understand material properties for the purpose of reverse engineering commercial aircraft components
    • Demonstrated proficiency in developing models and drawings and an understanding of GD&T
    • Develop documentation to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory process
    • Possess a basic understanding of material processes and characteristics
    • Act as liaison with our manufacturing sources for products designed by Seal Dynamics
    • Manage and participate in all aspects of reverse engineering a product, develop FAA certification documentation, and provide manufacturing and product support
    • Support Seal Dynamics’ customers with technical and on-site support
    • This position may require 5-15% travel to visit airline engineering departments, overhaul facilities and the Federal Aviation Administration offices

    EDUCATION / PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Mechanical/Aerospace engineering degree with at least eight (8) years of related experience
    • Have knowledge of and experience with commercial aircraft part development, including regulatory requirements and specification.
    • Demonstrated proficiency and industry experience in developing drawings and 3D solid modeling (Solidworks experience a plus)
    • Experience with dimensional tolerancing methods including GD&T (2009 version)
    • Hands on manufacturing and machine shop experience and familiarity of various materials processing techniques is a plus 
    • Demonstrated proficiency in PC based Microsoft Office suite of programs – Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, etc. and Adobe Acrobat
    • Successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
    • Demonstrated effective decision making and organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

    Immediate opportunity available for a Bi-lingual Spanish Scale Operator in Tampa, FL. As a Scale Operator, you will use a computerized scale to weigh incoming recycling material, logging information relevant to each load. The Operator will accurately record this data for billing purposes and perform regular audits to ensure appropriate billing. This position requires moderate computer proficiency. Experience in the recycling industry a plus! This is a non-smoking facility.

    We are in search of a Shift Supervisor to oversee operations during second shift at our local recycling plant. The Shift Supervisor supervises a team of 40+ Workers and plans, directs, and controls production activities for 2nd Shift while assuring safety, production and quality expectations are met at all times.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The following list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

    Supervises site operations: production, sorting, loading, unloading, inventory, and labor.
    Supervise and enforce Safety adherence and compliance with OSHA and EPA safety regulations.
    Prepares daily schedule and assigns tasks to workers
    Provides hands-on support to all departments: Operations and Maintenance
    Assist Manager with the improvement of operational processes

This position requires excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and measuring in both English and Metric units.

    POSITION OBJECTIVE

    Develop CMM programs for all new products or for current products with design changes. Comprehend and interpret blueprints and update computer-generated CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Program(s) and job package(s) using Wenzel CMM’s and OpenDMIS software, and Catia models.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Create new CMM Programs using Wenzel OpenDMIS software and CATIA models.
    • Revise existing CMM programs to current revision level per the part detail drawing.
    • Support First Piece, In-Process, Final, and First Article Inspections of complex, close tolerance machined parts and sub-assemblies with critical internal and external dimensions using all forms of conventional inspection equipment including CMM, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, optical comparator, height gauges, ring gauges, pin gauges, etc.
    • Interpret work instructions and blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
    • Design fixturing if required for CMM program applications.
    • Work with engineering and Numerical Control (NC) Programming to ensure that part models and print requirements/GD &T meet specifications.
    • Provide manufacturing floor support for trouble shooting Machine Shop CMM failures.
    • Create detailed first piece and in-process Inspection reports in SAP.
    • Update inspection reports per change revision as required per Engineering Change Order (ECO).
    • Assist in training and guiding machine shop operators with operating the CMM.
    • Attend meetings pertaining to new product development and manufacturing.
    • Follow all record retention and documentation policies.
    • Perform other work tasks as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED).
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience operating a CMM.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience programming a CMM.
    • Experience with Wenzel CMM’s and OpenDMIS software preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of inspection experience in Aerospace or Defense Industries (or similar).
    • Highly skilled with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, sine plate, comparators and other precision instruments.
    • Ability to proficiently read and interpret blueprint, Port Specifications/technical drawings per ASME Y14.5M 2009 and other related specifications.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting and utilizing Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), geometry and trigonometry for inspection purposes.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues and interface with Engineering and others across other functions.
    • Proficiency using Windows and common Microsoft Office applications.
    • Experience working with SAP or similar MRP system preferred.
    • Work overtime and flexible hours to meet deliverable deadlines as assigned.
    • May need to travel, domestically.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Bending, lifting, sitting, standing and twisting for long periods of time.
    • Successfully pass the Ishihara’s Test for Color Deficiency, and Jaeger Level 1 eye examinations per PACS-PQ-0029.

    Position Description

    Position Title: External Visual Inspector

    Position Reports to: Manager, Visual Inspection and Test

    FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

    Effective Date: May 11, 2020

    Overall Responsibility: Responsible for inspecting customer’s electronic components to ensure that they meet the customer’s quality requirements. Once they perform the required tests they then use the test results to assess the product and produce a report outlining their findings and recommendations.

    Duties:

    • Performs detailed inspections and verifies production articles based on comparisons to representative samples and recognized industry standards.
    • Uses appropriate measurement tools, instruments, gages and meters as required to measure and verify quality characteristics identified in inspection instructions, drawings, processes and related documentation. Tools typically used are:

    o Keyence Digital Microscope VHX-6000 20x - 2000x

    o Keyence Digital Microscope VHX-7000 10x - 5000x

    o Amscope 10x-1000x

    o FS Inspection HDMAG and TOPAZ devices

    • Verifies part conformance to applicable industry and contractual requirements. Typical requirements are, but not limited to:

    o Global ETS External Visual Inspection Process – WI007

    o Harris Test Requirements for Non-Franchised Distribution Parts ECO-131236

    o SAE Aerospace Standards SAE AS6081

    Analyzes, interprets and understands inspection instructions, manufacturing processes, drawings, deviations, product change notices and other forms of related documents.

    • Takes all necessary and appropriate visual pictures of the inspected parts. Uses these as a reference in developing an inspection report.
    • Develops and issues a report regarding the findings of the inspection conducted. This is then turned over to Quality Control for review and release.
    • Corrects any mistakes that are discovered by other test departments, Quality Control or Shipping regarding testing, reporting or part accountability.
    • Interfaces with other departments that conduct technical test issues on the parts inspected to ensure their cooperation and compliance.
    • Cleans and maintains test equipment and instruments to ensure proper functioning.
    • Develops and helps to implement ideas through the Global ETS Continuous improvement process.
    • Performs other duties as directed by the department manager.

    Education: A 2 year Associates degree in Science or Engineering.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years in an electronics manufacturing or test environment. Must have at least 4 years as an electronics inspector.

    Financial Responsibility: Is responsible to ensure that any damage to customer parts is minimalized. Handles all equipment and tooling with care to prevent damage or unnecessary repairs.

    Contacts: Involves contact with individuals inside the company where the nature of the information provided usually follows an established pattern.

    Judgment and Decision Making: Must understand the testing requirements of the clients and the procedures that control the testing and reporting efforts. If there are any questions or uncertainties, these are directed to the manager for clarification Work is performed under direct supervision.

    Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility.

    Position Description

    Position Title: Shipper

    Position Reports to: Shipping Manager

    FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

    Effective Date: August 5, 2020

    Overall Responsibility: Ensures efficient shipping processes and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies with shipping of test items. Does baking of parts and tape and reel work as required.

    Duties:

    • Puts pieces back on the carrier with cover tape in preparation for returning to the client.
    • Completes ESD / MSL packaging and labeling of parts in preparation for returning to the client.
    • Ensures accurate and timely shipment processes with maximum efficiency.
    • Compares all shipping documentation. If there are any discrepancies, reports to the Shipping Manager for disposition.
    • Inspects shipments to ensure they match P.O., S.O. and shipping criteria. If there are any discrepancies, reports these to the Shipping Manger for disposition.
    • Bakes parts as needed,
    • Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and works to solve them.
    • Develops and helps to implement ideas through the Global ETS Continuous improvement process.
    • Performs other duties as directed by the Shipping manager.

    Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED.

    Experience: Previous Shipping experience is a plus. Should have good communication and organizational skills. Must have computer skills and knowledge of required Global ETS software programs. Must have basic math skills and aptitude.

    Financial Responsibility: There may be some damage of loss of test parts. Must exhibit care and attention to minimize this.

    Contacts: Position involves contacts with individuals inside the company regarding any questions on discrepancies found with test parts and Shipping documentation. May have contact with customers in order to provide information on shipping discrepancies and issues.

    Judgment and Decision Making:. May require certain judgment on shipping discrepancies. If any doubt, can bring to the attention of the Shipping Manager for resolution.
