The Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) recently announced (press release) it is hosting the 2021 MakeMore Manufacturing Summit in partnership with FloridaMakes, the Associated Industries of FloridaCareerSource FloridaEnterprise Florida, and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. The Summit is an annual platform to exchange ideas about how our state resources are addressing the impact of market dynamics, economic trends and policies, and new technologies in the manufacturing sector.

The Summit’s Goal

The MakeMore Manufacturing Summit will build a road map towards strengthening and advancing Florida’s economy through innovation and industry diversification by focusing on four key themes: Business Growth, Talent Development, Technology, and Business Climate.

This year, the Summit will be virtual, split into four (4) segments hosted every other month through October:


  • Business Growth (June 22-23)
  • Talent Development (July 27-28)
  • Technology (August 24-25)
  • Outlook 2022 (week of October 25, exact dates TBD)
