Please join us for a tour of the Jabil Failure Analysis (FA) Lab located in the “Roosevelt Building” at 10800 Roosevelt Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. 



Due to the size of the FA lab, attendance is limited to 5 allow up close viewing.  More tours can be added at later dates, if needed, based on demand.
The cost of this tour is only $10.00

Have you ever returned a product for a recall or purchased a cell phone, laptop, or DVR that did not function properly from the start and had to return it?  Have you ever wondered why that occurred or what happens to those items after returning them?  If so, then the Jabil Failure Analysis (FA) Lab tour is the tour for you regardless of your technical knowledge.

 The Jabil Failure Analysis (FA) Lab has the ability to support, if needed, any of Jabil’s 60 manufacturing plants around the world with their electrical failures, solder issues, suspect counterfeit components, and much more.  This lab will offer insight on various forms of non-destructive and destructive analysis that are performed on components and circuit boards to determine why they do not function properly.  The destructive analysis consists of cross sectioning a component or board, dye & pry, pull/shear testing, de-potting, dimensional analysis, and various other forms. 

Please be at Jabil 15 minutes prior to your session for registration check in.

 ESD smocks, heal straps, and safety glasses will be provided during registration. Please remember to wear closed toed shoes in order to tour the FA Lab. Otherwise, access to the FA Lab will not be granted.
