The complexities of state and federal regulations in regards to Human Resources has increased the inherent risk in employment decisions. The Training and Compliance Program was created to provide employers with the ability to assess their compliance risks, and to assist in implementing policies and procedures that will ensure compliance and provide employers with the confidence necessary to make employment decisions. The penalties for ethical and legal lapses in the workplace are significant, including multi-million dollar assessments and jail time for corporate violators. Recent court cases, governmental agency guidelines, and sweeping new statutes only continue to raise the bar in what is expected of companies in terms of establishing and maintaining an effective compliance program.
