How do we cope in these challenging times? One option is to gain a deeper understanding of our strengths and our talents. To shine a light on all of the powerful traits we have that will be helpful in this journey. In our work, we use the Innermetrix assessment tools to improve self-awareness. This is the first step in achieving individual peak performance. Interestingly, we have found this exercise to be quite therapeutic; perfect at times like this. Yes, I can work through this!

Besides being therapeutic right now, there will be a practical benefit going forward. During these next few weeks (with a little more time on our hands), we can work through the relevance exercises in the assessment report and build our plans to leverage our strengths and talents and prepare to be better than ever. In addition to the individual assessment tool, we use the D.I.AL.O.G. Tool for the Organizational Assessment. It measures the same seven areas identified by NIST that make up the Criteria for Performance Excellence used by the Baldridge National Quality Program.
