October is Manufacturing Month, a time to celebrate and showcase the exciting world of manufacturing to the next generation. Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA) invites local manufacturing companies to participate by hosting student tours at your facility.
What’s Involved?
Date and Time:
Choose a few dates that work with your schedule. We will work with the schools to schedule. Tours last 2-3 hours, typically from 10:00 - 1:00 pm
Student Group: Middle or high school students arriving by bus.
Activities: Provide an overview of your company’s operations and a guided tour of your facility.
Lunch: Lunch for the students will be needed.
Support: The BAMA Workforce Development Committee and the school's CTE Director will assist in coordinating the tour logistics.
Why Participate?
Hosting a student tour is a fantastic opportunity to engage with future talent, showcase your industry, and contribute to educating the community about modern manufacturing.
