Focus Group

Manufacturers are welcome to join us for our focus group that is being conducted as part of the CareerSource FloridaMakes Business Innovation (CSFMBI) Year 2 project.

Location: Pinellas Science Center, 7701 -22nd Ave N., St. Pete

The goals of this Focus Groups include:

1. Identifying opportunities to make data-informed decisions that will improve competitiveness
2. Identifying regional training needs and existing resources, and
3. Generating data to inform initial recommendations to improve the workforce system

The Focus Groups, which have been scheduled for a period of 2 -3 hours, will be led by representatives from CAAM. The format will include free-flow dialogue and CAAM will facilitate environment characterized by collaborative thinking in which you can freely share your thoughts and ideas.

We request your participation in this event and seek your input as we
explore the SME Survey Results related to workforce skills needed
review the IHS economic analysis for our region

Critical to the success of this effort is gathering manufacturers' perceptions related to current and future skills/competencies needed and current use of talent development supports and resources (grants, education systems, etc).
