Using 3D Printing in Manufacturing Process to Increase Productivity & Quality

Wednesday, December 7
Breakfast meeting
7:30 - 8:30 AM
Location: Pinellas Technical College, 901 - 34th Street, St. Petersburg

As a manufacturer, you know that productivity and quality are crucial to your success. Have you considered how 3D printing can be used to increase both? 3D printing is ideally suited to creating prototypes for products. 3D printing can also be used for helping you to create better manufacturing processes -- specifically for creating customized jigs and fixtures.

Your employees are probably always coming up with ideas how to improve your manufacturing but how to implement them? Thinking of a new jig or fixture? It can be modeled then printed. Perhaps ABS or PLA plastic is the final material or perhaps you need it in metal, that is also possible.

Join us for coffee and donuts at PTC in St. Pete from 7:30 to 8:30am where we will explore ideas for using 3D printing in the manufacturing. Introductions and networking from 7:30 to 7:45.

For questions please contact Mark Guthrie at 727.342.0804 or mguthrie@Create-3D.biz.

Create3D is an authorized reseller of MakerBot and XYZ 3D printers. Create3D also provides 3D design services using USF Engineering students. They also provide SOLIDWORKS and OnShape CAD training.
