In a recent survey, 52% of manufacturers identified finding skilled labor as their number one barrier to growth. So what can manufacturing companies do to attract and retain skilled labor? The first step is working with local colleges to provide your input on their curriculum so students entering the workforce have the skills you need. 

St. Petersburg College invites you to attend a virtual Manufacturing Round Table. We will engage you in this interactive Zoom event, conducted through SPC’s Collaborative Labs, to identify your priority workforce needs and SPC’s educational solutions to support your success. You will also gain some insights into the current state of the Manufacturing Industry in Florida.

This virtual round table will include:

• An update from BAMA regarding the state of manufacturing in Florida
• Information regarding SPC’s current programs, certification offerings and equipment/technology
• Brainstorming sessions regarding topics such as most urgent manufacturing training needs, industry certificates and how SPC can best support you!
