BAMA LUNCH AND LEARN

3 PART SERIES

ATTEND ONE OR ALL THREE SESSIONS

February 23, March 2March 9

INNOVATION: TOTAL PORTFOLIO APPROACH

DRAMATICALLY INCREASE THE RATE AT WHICH YOU INNOVATE AND IMPROVE

A human-centered, three tier approach to innovation

PART 1 -  The First Level. Unlocking the power of bottom-up ideas. Norman Bodek, godfather of lean, called this the most powerful tool he had ever seen! Learn the secret to the top performing manufacturing operations in the world. Get everyone involved, every day. “Do your work, improve your work.” Thousands of ideas implemented. Praise and thank them. “Catch people doing something right!”

PART 2 – Mid Level CI teams. How to build highly productive, collaborative teams to do the projects that require a small team vs an individual. Forming teams, team makeup and self-awareness tools to improve team productivity by 50%. How to get the right resources on the right projects at the right time.

PART 3-  Top level Innovation. This is what we usually think of when we think of Innovation. Because this is all human-centered, we will focus on Design Thinking concepts, framing statements, and the interplay between this level and level 1. Also, the concepts of “time and place” knowledge vs. aggregate knowledge.
