    Looking for hard-working and motivated individuals for assembly positions in our Aerospace manufacturing facility. Must be dependable and have a good work ethic and positive attitude. This is small detail work, so good eye-hand coordination is also a must!

    Must be able to read and write legibly in English for job-related documenting.

    Related job duties include but are not limited to:

    - Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, products or systems by reading work orders and following production drawings and sample assemblies.

    - Legibly fill out travelers and/or inspection reports

    - Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.

    Sunday – Thursday 10 pm – 6 am. 

    Omnicell is currently hiring for a Senior Card Press Operator to work at our St. Petersburg FL location.  The Senior Card Press Operator will report to the shift Production Supervisor. This position will provide hands-on leadership for the Card Press production line assigned to.  They will help train operators as required, troubleshoot problems, and assist the Lead Card Press Operator on continuous improvement projects. This is a 3rd shift position working Sunday – Thursday 10 pm – 6 am. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Leads and orchestrate changeovers on their assigned press
    • Supports troubleshooting efforts on their press or any other press needing assistance
    • Leads Continuous Improvement activity for production
    • Collect and Log Production Data as necessary
    • Printing of multiple color products
    • Operating continuous web converting equipment
    • Responsible for the set-up, operation, clean up, and the quality of the product produced

    The Thermoformer Operator will report to the shift Production Supervisor and will also take guidance from the Senior Thermoformer Operator.     Material Handler I 1st Shift 

    The Material Handler I will report to the Supervisor, Logistics and will be responsible for preparing records of receipt of incoming material and equipment. Additional responsibilities include properly label received items and items being shipped to customers: manually or with appropriate equipment move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated areas within the company’s facilities; pulling orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipments and preparing records, packing slips, and bills of lading for all outbound material and equipment.  

    Responsibilities:

    This is a senior-level position to assist the lead and supervisor with total team development to help maintain equipment to meet production goals. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the Electrical, PLC, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs, installations, and set-up of production machinery.
    • Make certain all machines and systems utilized in manufacturing are operating at peak performance at all times.

    • Responsible for the set-up, operation, clean up, and the quality of the product produced on relevant press
    • Proficiency in meeting established quality standards

    Required Knowledge and Skills:

    • Familiarity with unwind and rewind turrets
    • Understanding of information and requirements on job tickets for the setup and running of the job
    • Knowledge in the selection of necessary components to run a job. (print cylinders, plates, dies)
    • Skill in mixing inks and general knowledge of color theory
    • Skill in handling UV and water-based inks
    • Understanding of management/handling of anilox, print cylinders, dies, and knock-outs
    • Skill in registering plates on press
    • Skill in die-cutting and die registration
    • Capability to follow all safety guidelines
    • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple constituents, including management, and coworkers
    • Ability to be organized/ prioritize and multitask
    • Ability to accept guidance from supervisor
    • Ability to work under little supervision

    Basic Qualifications: 

    • High school diploma/GED
    • A minimum of two years of work experience on multi-colored mechanical/servo color UV continuous web flexographic printing equipment.

    Work Conditions:

    • Manufacturing Environment  
    • Located in St. Petersburg 
    • Extended or irregular work hours as necessary
    • Personal protective gear as required 
    • Stand, sit, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
    • Able to lift 60 pounds
    • Able to lift 25 pounds – 35 pounds repetitively

    • Move skids weighing up to 2,500 pounds with the use of mechanical and or powered rolling stock. (pallet jacks)

    Card Press Assistant

    This role could report to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.  

    The Card Press Assistant will ensure that the correct amount, quantity, item and quality standards are being produced, and on the job training is available.  This position reports to the shift Production Supervisor and will also take direction from the Card Press Operator, Senior Operator, or Card Press Lead. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Card Press Operator to meet production, quality and safety goals.
    • Inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure conformance to specifications.
    • Assist the Card Press Operator to perform product changeovers and prepare components for the following run.
    • Keep machine and surrounding area clean and tidy.
    • Tend Rolls
    • Support Corporate Programs such as 5S, ISO, SMED, Preventive Maintenance, Sustainability, and GMP.
    • Follow all safety rules and guidelines, including reporting unsafe or unexpected conditions. 
    • Any other tasks as assigned

    Required Knowledge and Skills:

    • Ability to read, understand, and follow schedule, written instructions, and job ticket requirements.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    • Experience working with application of glues, coatings and the laminating of substrates to web. Example: foil, film, liner etc.
    • 6+ Months Manufacturing or Expediting Experience

    Work Conditions:

    • Manufacturing environment with noise levels commonly requiring hearing protection.
    • Industrial Chemical Exposure.
    • Stand, sit, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
    • Lifting requirements:
      • Minimum 10lbs
      • Maximum 50lbs (Anything over 50lbs requires team lift)
      • 25 pounds – 35 pounds repetitively.
      • Move rolls of Plastic/Board/Foil/Liner/Label Stock – 400 pounds – 1000 pounds (rolling material on their diameter).
      • Move skids weighing up to 2,500 pounds with the use of mechanical or powered Pallet Jack.
    • Wearing of Personnel Protective Equipment required, such as Safety Shoes, Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Hard Hats or other PPE dependent on job duties.
