She earned her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and her MBA, both from the University of South Florida.

  She is a certified Process Master, Certified Instructor/Facilitator, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Talent Optimization Sr. Director with MVP Results, an Elite Predictive Index Partner. Carissa earned her Professional Coach Certification through the rigorous IPEC Coaching program.  As a third-party provider for FloridaMakes, Carissa supports the economic engine that is Florida manufacturing and supply chain.

  She is a Life Member of the Society of Women Engineers and a board member of her alma mater’s Engineering Alumni Society. She’s a lifelong learner and enjoys golfing with her husband, Scott.   Members of the Bay Area Manufacturers Association are invited to an exclusive facility tour of Haddy, a where AI-powered 3D printing meets design freedom, rapid production, and sustainable materials. 

  Dress Code: Florida casual, it is very warm in the factory, so it is recommended to wear closed toe shoes and light, breathable clothing.

  Instructions for attendees: This is a working factory, there are trip hazards, the facility does not have AC, and there are proprietary and confidential projects where photos cannot be taken.
